JAMUN Laser Irradiator

A medical laser irradiator and a personal thermal device in one!

Medical Laser Irradiator (TBJ01)

How It Works and Its Effects

The medical laser irradiator applies a 650nm (nanometer) laser, a wavelength widely used for medical purposes, to a medical device so it can be used easily. This laser-based medical device offers both a neck-kneading function and a laser function. Because it is designed to operate automatically, you simply lie down comfortably and press the controller button. It is effective in relieving pain and muscle pain.

Operating Principle

AC220V power input from the power supply passes through a transformer and is converted by a rectifier circuit; part of it is supplied to the heating applicator, part to drive the motor, and part through a constant-voltage circuit for controlling the main CPU and the controller CPU. Supplied with DC5V power, the control unit exchanges signals with the controller using phase control, executing and controlling functions according to switch (TACT S/W) presses, and the Remote Controler section of the controller that receives the signals displays the operating status as functions run.

In auto mode, the timer turns OFF after 35 minutes, the heating unit after 1 hour 40 minutes, and the laser unit after 30 minutes of operation. When operation is selected with the power button, the temperature control unit supplies power to the heating applicator and controls heating operation by switching the triac ON/OFF. Once the user sets the desired temperature, the temperature sensor detects the temperature and the heater repeatedly turns off when it rises above the set temperature and on when it falls below it, maintaining the set temperature. In case of overheating, a bimetal switch is activated to prevent overheating.

When operation is selected with a function button (auto or manual), the motor control unit supplies DC12V power to the motor by switching a relay ON/OFF, controlling the automatic and manual rolling along the rail and the kneading function of the neck roller. The speed of the motor that moves the applicator is controlled by regulating the output voltage supplied to the motor using the charge and discharge rate of a capacitor and transistor (TR). When operation is selected with the laser button, power is supplied to the laser diode, and the laser irradiation function is controlled by switching the triac ON/OFF. The laser generates a 650nm visible-light laser from a semiconductor medium.
